There's not many things you can rely on in life. Rain at Wimbledon, England losing on penalties, Jodie Marsh getting her kit off - and add the Chemical Brothers providing dancefloor-walloping, humongous great hits every year to that list as well. Whether it's the bleeping techno thrill of 'Hey Boy, Hey Girl', the thunderous, robotic, smash of 'Block Rockin' Beats' or the filthy pound of 'Galvanise', they've churned out enough party anthems to make Chico look like Scrooge McDuck.

'The Salmon Dance' is their latest generous serving, a twisted, jilted mix of breaks and beeps with some laid-back vocals from FatLip of Pharcyde fame thrown in the top of the mix for good measure. FatLip regales the journey of everyone's favourite sandwich-filling fish, while the Chems scratch out a haunting, reverberating beat. We are informed that we should "Shake your body / Like a salmon floating upstream" and although DS isn't quite sure of the exact moves yet (we imagine it's some kind of Macarena/Saturday Night/Timewarp hybrid), the enchanting blend of electronics, bass, and old skool hip-hop vocals mean we're going to give it a try anyway.

It's a gonzo tune that should hopefully prompt 20,000 festival-goers to wobble around dressed up in pink salmon suits in the very near future.
