Lily Allen rumoured to be engaged

She's having a bit of a shitter of it at the moment so we won't be mean, but we hear rumours today that Lily Allen is engaged to granddad Ed from The Chemical Brothers.

Lily has been spotted sporting a ring on her 'engagement' finger on several occasions now which could mean:

- She is engaged.
- She's not engaged but the ring feels nice on that finger.
- Um, something else we've not yet thought of.

Lily was also been seen tripping out of Chemical Ed's house at the weekend which could mean:

- They were 'rekindling' their love for each other.
- She was picking up anything she'd left at his house before he sells it on eBay.
- Something else we've not thought of.

Come on, Lily, let's hope something good happens to you soon. See, nice. We CAN do it.

Lily Allen Dumped from Agent Provocateur

SINGER Lily Allen has been axed as the face and figure of sexy lingerie firm Agent Provocateur.

Lily, 22 — snapped in a corset and stockings with a whip — is said to be “gutted”.

The star, who recently had a miscarriage, had gone through tough gym sessions to take over from Kate Moss in a new ad campaign.

A source said: “She’s really proud of her new figure.”

Lily was ditched in a row between the £60million firm’s bosses Joe Corré, 40, and Serena Rees, 39, who are divorcing.

Serena picked Lily but creative boss Joe — son of designer Vivienne Westwood— vetoed the move.



The source said: “Serena loves Lily and thinks she’s young and sassy.

“But Joe wasn’t keen and canned all the pictures.”

It’s another blow for Lily who recently split from lover Ed Simons and got disappointing ratings for her BBC3 show.

Agent Provocateur said the photos may still be used in a magazine editorial, adding: “We haven’t made any decisions.”

But a pal said: “Lily was told she’d be the face of a new campaign. This feels like a big demotion.”

Lily Allen partied 16 hours straight

Lily Allen and her trendy-ite crew were on the mother of all benders last night. Their day started at 10.45am at the Luella fashion show in Claridges and hardcore Lily was still going strong at 2.45am this morning, after a whopping 16 hours.

Judging by the photo, the singer will no-doubt be nursing a sore head this morning.

Lily, who's had a tough couple of weeks, went to the Vivienne Westwood show with Kimberly Stewart, Kelly Osbourne, Alexa Chung, Jaime Winstone and Peaches and Pixie Geldof last night. The usual suspects.

The gal pals then hit up the after-party in Dolce club and managed to fit in the Hadley Freeman book launch in Mulberry on Bond Street on the way.

But Lily wasn't content to leave the night there and she headed off to Punk in Soho - finally running out of steam and heading for home at 2.45am this morning.

The 22-year-old, who is nursing a double heartbreak after losing her baby and splitting with Chemical Brothers Ed Simons, appeared at the show in a plunging red dress, set off with dark smokey eye makeup.

Flashing a smile for photographers, Allen seemed to have also put behind her the stinging criticism of her new BBC3 TV show, which reportedly saw members of her audience walking out in boredom.

It's good she's still know how to have fun.

What is she doing? Well, it's obvious what she's doing, but why? Lily Allen's new show called "Lily Allen & Friends" debuted on BBC Three last night and although I've not heard much about it, I didn't realize it was THAT kind of show.

Apparently she had Cuba Gooding Jr. as her fist first guest and wow, he must have been impressed - so impressed he took off his shirt.

Lily Allen BBC chat show flopped

But Lily Allen's late-night chat show went terribly wrong last night.

During recording of the all-important first programme, more than a third of the studio audience walked out, saying they were bored and complaining it was "horrible" and "limp".

One of the fans who walked out said: "Everyone really, really wanted it to work for Lily. She is such a lovely person but all the jokes fell flat and she seemed very nervous. It just did not work.

"I do think she's got a nice voice but she didn't sing at all. I think everyone was expecting she would."

Off-camera, the 22-year-old, who was wearing a slinky red off-the-shoulder dress, admitted she was nervous of her first test as an interviewer, quizzing guests Cuba Gooding Jnr, comedian David Mitchell and the band Reverend and the Makers.

As well as her inexperience, Miss Allen had to fight technical glitches including a jammed Autocue, which left her reliant on handwritten cue cards.

One guest said: "We were all standing about, getting quite tired.

"She was halfway through her interview with David Mitchell when she seemed to forget the questions and launched into an attack on all the horrible things people had written about her on online chat forums.

"It was terrible. Even David Mitchell had to remind her not to criticise the very people who would be watching the show."

Miss Allen then showed a series of internet videos showing animals having sex. Cuba Gooding Jnr summed up the mood when he told the audience: "I don't know what's sicker, animals having sex or you clapping."

Another guest said: "We were all told when to clap and laugh but a lot of people, including me, were very uncomfortable. Much of the humour was very limp."

It looks as if Lily Allen should really concentrate on singing career instead,not everyone could be Tyra Banks even though she can't sing.

The audience will be composed of 'friends', and also celebrity friends and new bands from her page on social networking website MySpace.
