Jessica Simpson is suing mad after a OK magazine published an article claiming she’s been given the boot by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
The Blonde Ambition star has called in the lawyers over a story – entitled ‘Jessica Dumped!’ - that appeared in the February 4 issue of OK!
The story alleged that Romo had given Jess her marching orders after his team was eliminated from the NFL playoffs.
It also claimed that Jess’s sister Ashlee was also distancing herself from her big sis.
TMZ reports that the mag is in receipt of a letter from Jess’s attorneys denying a split and calling the article “utterly false.”
Her attorneys say the article is part of a "smear campaign" which has subjected straight-to-DVD queen to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace."
OK! has been asked to print a “prominent and unambiguous" retraction.
