Paris Hilton's Pets are safe for now

I had been worried about the safety of Paris’s pets after she announced on Ellen that she had 17 dogs, but it looks like the rumors have been calmed for the time being. It’s illegal to wn more than three dogs in Los Angeles, unless you’re a licensed dog breeder, so in came the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services to check things out earlier this week.

When they showed up to inspect the area, the property was completely empty– with no signs of any pets at all. (Weird, to say the least.) Where did the all the birds and cats go, along with the monkey, ferret, and all those dogs? According to the SPCA, the animals have now been placed with “handlers at a ranch.” Poor little things– hopefully this is the last move for a while.
