Amy Winehouse's hubby disowned his own family

Blake's jail plea to wife Winehouse

TROUBLED Amy Winehouse's jailed husband has sensationally DISOWNED his family and written the singer an anguished love letter - BEGGING her not to divorce him.

In the latest remarkable twist to the junkie couple's torment, Blake Fielder-Civil tearfully handed the note to Amy in a bid to save their marriage during a prison rendezvous last week.

Our revelation emerges as Amy was granted a last-minute visa to go to the US for the Grammys after being banned for drug-taking.

But the star, nominated for six awards, has decided to stay in Britain and take part by satellite instead.

She was allowed out of rehab for the visit to Pentonville on Wednesday, but was still fuming over our exclusive interview with Blake's mum Georgette two weeks ago.

Georgette told how her son BLASTED drugged-up Amy for sleeping during jail visits and branded her dad Mitch the Fat Controller, BLAMING him for her addiction.

But 24-year-old Amy— accompanied by her fuming dad—broke down and wept as she read the letter Blake handed to her.

Over two handwritten pages he ADMITTED what he had told his mother, PLEADED with Amy not to leave him—and VOWED to turn his back on his family. Blake, 25, wrote:

"Baby, oh darling. Please don't leave me Amy. I'm so worried that now you're thinking straight you'll realise I'm not worthy of you. Oh God, please don't leave me. I'll do anything to show you my heart and loyalty is with you.

"I did tell my mum how you fell asleep on visits ... and although sometimes I think your dad hurts me unnecessarily I love him and respect him.

"Me and my family are finished for good. No visits, phone calls, nothing.

"I love my new family and can't wait to show them I'm not just a f****** loser and that I can look after their daughter. That's if you can find it in your heart to trust me.

"Your my family now, if you'll all have me. Pls don't leave me Amy, Pls. I love you so much, Blake xxx."

Mitch said: "Amy was furious with Georgette's attack—but Blake's letter left her in tears.

"She asks you to publish it to show how determined they are to beat drugs and save their marriage and their lives.

"I support that—as long as it is a drug-free relationship."

Mitch revealed how Amy was struggling to stay in rehab at the Edward House clinic in London—and tried to QUIT earlier this week.

"Amy has been through cold turkey but the worst's over," he said. "She had a wobble on Tuesday and wanted to leave.

"She'd started to feel better and thought, ‘What the hell am I doing here?' That's the danger period.

"The staff called me in and we spent time together. It was like she was a little baby and had started packing.

"I sat with her all night. We both cried a lot and Amy agreed to stay."

Worried Mitch also revealed how he once planned to have his daughter SECTIONED under the Mental Health Act to try to save her from drugs.

"I was so concerned for Amy's life I looked at the possibility. She was killing herself— but I now think rehab has been the best thing for her."
